Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my website and some of the products that I have to offer. Here are just a few examples of my work to give you an idea of what I do.
I had the privilege of growing up in the cowboy and leather culture of Sheridan, Wyoming. There I worked for Don Butler, at the Custom Cowboy Shop, and that is where I learned craftsmanship as well as the finer points of quality leather work. During this period, I also had the privilege to work with Paul Van Dyke. He was the one who encouraged me to start my own business, and with his eye for quality, has helped me to become better in my trade.
My goal with Northern Range Cowboy Gear is to offer a wide range of the highest quality horse gear that is designed with both the horse and rider in mind. In all of my work, I strive to make each part that isn’t seen as well as I make the parts that are, each knife stroke smoother than the last, and each piece better than the one before. I believe that this is the only way for a person to get better at anything that they pursue.
